For example, one issue may print pages 1-60 of a certain court record, etc. and the next issue may print pages 61-120. An address may be found on the cover pages where back issues were available in 1984. Most of the transcriptions give the location of the Archives or courthouse from which they were taken; some even give exact Archive call numbers for microfilm reel or folder number. For anyone interested in S.C. Revolutionary Pensioners, Section C. contains an excellent introduction written by the archival researcher which discusses the history of the laws and acts passed regarding Revolutionary War Pensions. The majority of this collection, Sections B.-E., contain records pertaining to S.C. including County, State, Colonial and military Records from Courts, Wills, Newspapers, etc. while Section F. contains these same type records for various counties in N.C. This collection provides a good source for a genealogist wishing to gain a brief overview of what records are available and their content before making a trip to a specific archive.
