This collection consists of Speech of Mr. Calhoun, Of South Carolina, In Reply To The Speeches Of Mr. Webster and Mr. Clay, On Mr. Crittenden's Amendment To The Pre-Emption Bill: To Which Is Annexed Mr. Calhoun's Bill, As Modified By Mr. Young, As An Amendment To Mr. Crittenden's Amendment; And The Resolution Offered By Mr. Tazewell in 1826 To Cede The Public Lands To The New States, And The Remarks Of Mr. Randolph And Mr. Van Buren In Favor Of A Cession published in 1841 by Blair & Rives Printers. The speech was delivered on January 30, 1841 in the United States Senate by South Carolina Senator John C. Calhoun (1782-1850).
