The York County American Tune Book Association was founded on August 2, 1921 at the York County Court House due to the efforts of Mr. W. Mason Stowe, Mr. Mason L. Carroll, and Mr. E. Meek Dickson. The organization was involved with singing sacred music.

The organization was involved with singing sacred music. The York County American Tune Book Association Scrapbook consists of photocopies of a brief history, newspaper clippings, and photographs concerning the founding of the association and its performances.
