Scope and Content Note
The Rock Hill Chapter of the American Red Cross Records consist of correspondence, memoranda, minutes, reports, bylaws, financial records, lists of workers, newsletters, scrapbooks, newspaper clippings, and photographs relating to the work of the Rock Hill Chapter, Fort Mill Branch, and Winthrop group. Subjects include disaster relief, volunteers, courses of instruction, aid and services to soldiers and veterans of World War II and Vietnam, Junior Red Cross, blood donation, Suzanne Johnson (Daughter of David B. Johnson), and the Sunshine Club for the visually impaired. Also included are uniforms and caps. Much of the collection consists of American National Red Cross publications on various subjects, posters, and brochures.
Provenance
The records of the Rock Hill Chapter of the American Red Cross were deposited with the Archives on 21 June 1982 by the Rock Hill Chapter via Mary Lodge, former director of the chapter.

Transfer of Items: 2 boxes of 16mm films were returned to the Rock Hill Chapter office on 23 October 1985.
