Martha Francis Morgan was a high school Latin teacher and club women. She was very active in several clubs and organizations in South Carolina such as the state division of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) (1964), the South Carolina Conference on the Status of Women (1969-1970), and the Junior Classical League (1963-1973).
Scope and Content Note
The Martha Francis Morgan Papers includes teaching aids, reading lists and tests relating to her teaching; together with constitutions, correspondence, photographs, program notes, and newspaper clippings concerning her involvement with the many clubs and organizations in which she participated.
Provenance
The papers of Martha Frances Morgan, teacher and clubwoman, were received by the Archives on September 29, 1975.
