Scope and Content Note
The American Association of University Women- Rock Hill Chapter Records includes minutes, membership rosters, correspondence, newspaper clippings, Treasurer’s reports, by-laws policies, histories, and scrapbooks, lists of branch, divisional, regional, and national officers, and information on chapter events such as the Tour of Homes, Judi Gustafson’s campaign, and the South Carolina Divisional Achievement Awards. The American Association of University Women (AAUW), was founded in 1881 as a non-profit organization that advances equity and education for women. The Rock Hill Chapter of the American Association of University Women was founded in 1925 or 1926 with Miss Anne W. Stevens serving as first president.

The records of the Rock Hill Chapter of the American Association of University Women were donated to the Archives by Miss June Treadway on September 5, 1997.
