Originally titled Ladies' National Magazine, Peterson's Magazine was a women's magazine published in Philadelphia from 1842 to 1898. The magazine was sold in 1898 and incorporated into the Argosy magazine.
Description
Peterson's Magazine consists of monthly issues of the magazine dating January to June 1863 (vol. 43) and July to December 1863 (vol. 44). Each issue includes patterns for sewing and needlework, fashion, poetry, short stories, book reviews,articles, and musical compositions. Please see the attached the attached indexes.
