Scope and Content Note

The Clover Family and Community Leaders Records, a sub-organization of the South Carolina Family and Community Leaders (SCFCL) club, concerns itself to promote the quality of life for all citizens in our communities through dedication, education, and service. The organization was formed at Winthrop College (now Winthrop University) in 1921. The collection consists of miscellaneous items from the Clover Family and Community Leaders Club. The majority of the items are business related including minutes, by-laws, contact lists, and letters of correspondence to the membership. Also included are some newspaper clippings related to the club activities. In addition, there are a few pamphlets and programs from various events affiliated with the organization.
