Historical Note
Peter Garrison, the progenitor of the family, was born in Ireland ca. 1701 and settled in Antrim township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Some of his children moved to Mecklenburg County, N.C. and York County, S.C. after his death in 1746.
Scope and Content Note
Descendants of the Garrison Families of York County, South Carolina and Mecklenburg County, North Carolina by Max Perry records the history of the descendants of Peter and Sarah Garrison. The book also includes genealogical information concerning the Spratt Family and the Biggers Family. Please see attached Table of Contents and Index.
