Scope and Content Note
This collection consists of a program from a dinner commemorating the Hundredth Anniversary of the Birth of Woodrow Wilson, who was the 28th president of the United State, sponsored by the City of Columbia and the State of South Carolina held at Hotel Columbia on December 28, 1956. The dinner was attended by several notable South Carolinians including Columbia, SC Mayor J. Clarence Dreher, Jr., South Carolina Governor George Bell Timmerman, Jr., and former South Carolina Governor James F. Byrnes. President Woodrow Wilson lived in Columbia, SC from 1870 to 1874 while his father was a professor at the Columbia Theological Seminary.
