Scope and Content Note
This collection consists of two shipping order/receipts and one letter of correspondence from the Rock Hill Buggy Company to the Henkle Live Stock Company. The Henkle Live Stock Company was based in Statesville, North Carolina. The Rock Hill Buggy Company, based in Rock Hill, SC, built horse drawn carriages and buggies in the late 1800s until the company began building motor vehicles in the early part of the 20th century and became known as the Anderson Motor Company. The Rock Hill Buggy Company and the Anderson Motor Company were owned and operated by John Gary Anderson.
