Scope and Content Note
The J.C. Hardin and Company Photographs consists of copies of six photographs of the J.C. Hardin & Company buildings and properties in Rock Hill, South Carolina, company workers, John Gary Anderson (father-in-law of JC Hardin), and Anderson Motor Company cars. Also included is a detailed descriptions of four of the photographs with background and histories of the company. The Rock Hill Body Company operated from 1938 to 1986 as one of the earliest makers of truck bodies and school bus bodies in South Carolina.
