Scope and Content Note
This collection consists of an affidavit of Jane Harris Odom ’80, ’82, concerning The Citadel’s use of her 1982 thesis “The Struggle for Coeducation at Winthrop College” without her permission in the Shannon Faulkner case. Shannon Faulkner successfully sued The Citadel to allow her to enroll and she became the first female cadet to enter the military academy. Also included is the state’s 35 page brief for the case.
