Scope and Content Note

The Hardin Family Papers consists of papers related to the prominent Rock Hill, SC family of the same name and includes books, ledgers related to E. K. Hardin’s Batesburg Drug Co. based in Batesburg, SC, family bibles containing genealogical data including birth, death, and marriage dates, and a file dedicated to Paul Wooten who is related to the family by marriage. Some of the family surnames included in the bibles are Harden/Hardin, Barmore, Bates, Black, Clement, Clinkscales, Davis, Gambrell, Hutto, Jones, Prince, Rogers, Sealy, and Williams.
