Scope and Content Note
The Adair Family Genealogy consists of photocopies of genealogical material collected by Walter William Adair (1930-2014) and Leo Zero Adair (1929-2002). Walter William Adair’s work culminated with his manuscript titled Adair Family Genealogy S : An Accounting Of Our South Carolina-Indiana-Idaho Adair Ancestry, With A Brief Analysis Of Our Scotch-Irish Forefathers. The collection consists of birth, marriage, and death dates, as well as military discharge papers. There is family history pertaining to the South Carolina, Idaho, Indiana and Ohio Adairs, and surname history leading back to Scotland and Ireland.
