The Greenville Women’s History Week Records consist of correspondence, advertisements, program evaluations, introductions, magazine articles, newspaper clippings, minutes, agenda, pamphlets, notes, addresses, photographs, proclamations, radio spots, receipts, resume, and exhibits. The Women’s History Week was created to honor the roles women have played in the history of the United States and this collection documents the organization of the women’s history week celebration in Greenville, SC from 1982-1985.
Provenance
The papers of the Greenville Women’s History Week were deposited by Anne Bellew, Chairman of the Greenville Women’s History Week Committee, on July 19, 1984.
