The South Carolina Association of Occupational Health Nurses, Inc. was founded in 1943 and “seeks to promote and develop the profession of occupational health nursing through evidence based education and interdisciplinary collaboration.”

Scope and Content Note
The collection consists of correspondence, organizational records, President’s Reports, biographies, Vice President’s Reports, advisory council members, committee chairs, membership secretaries kit, history of the South Carolina Association of Occupational Health Nurses, Bylaws, amendments to the bylaws, Treasure’s Report, letters from the Medical Advisory Board, general documents, forms and applications, sample letters, articles and newspaper clippings, all pertaining to the South Carolina State Association of Occupational Health Nurses. Also includes three (3) bound volumes; (2) scrapbooks and (1) photograph album, containing events pertaining to the South Carolina State Association of Occupational Health Nurse Records.
