The York County Minute Book of the Ordinary collection consists of microfilm copies purchased from the South Carolina Department of Archives and History. The Ordinary was the old name for a judge of probate. The microfilm contains records of wills, testaments and deaths arranged by year from 1814 through 1840. See Index for listing of names.
