The Sweatt Family Papers consist of photographs, correspondence, Christmas cards, envelopes, a newspaper article, and memorabilia related to the family. The majority of the collection consists of photographs of family members. The photographs include tintypes, cartes-de-visite, and postcards. The Sweatt family was predominately located in Rock Hill, SC.

The Sweatt Family Papers were deposited with the Archives on June 3, 1981, by Charles and Christine Schilff.
