Scope and Content Note
This collection consists of the records produced by the Newcomers Club of York County. The Newcomers Club “is a social and civic-minded women’s organization that is dedicated to offering a variety of opportunities for newcomers to meet their neighbors, enjoy social events with others, and learn more about their new community.” The records consists of minutes, reports, attendance records, directories, correspondence, newsletters, newspaper articles, charity records, financial records, and other records related to the club.
The Newcomers Club of York County Records were donated to the Louise Pettus Archives and Special Collections by Pam Dennis and Kris Black on August 17, 2017 and October 15, 2017.
