The Best of Show Eagle Sports Update showcased the Big South Conference’s Silver Anniversary and Winthrop’s part in it all, Basketball Conference Championship Ring Ceremony, how Andy Buechert’s injury affected the team, why some athletic teams use the West Center for practice, the best of Intramural Sports, ways to be able to compete in Intramural Sports, the Disc Golf Championship at Winthrop, Intramural Golf Tournament, the 21st Annual Asics Cross Country Invitational, how Winthrop uses the Internet to stream games and the benefits of Racquetball.

The Best of Show also showcased some Eagle Sports Updates such as the men’s Big South Basketball Championship Game and the first Round Game against Davidson, the rise of Fantasy Sports, what it takes to be a scholarship athlete, and why the Bookworm is the only place on campus to get Winthrop gear. The Best of Arts and Entertainment looked at the World of Gaming, Battle between two Rock Star Video Games, the Music Department’s Opera Theater, and Black History Exhibit of Wilhelmenia Wilcox.
