  • Winthrop’s Academic Affairs Division has selected Terri Wright as the executive director of the Office of Sponsored Programs and Research (SPAR) effective July 17.
  • Wright comes to Winthrop after 15 years of teaching, contract management, higher education administration, program assessment and strategic planning. She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia, and a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of South Carolina.
