  • An 11 a.m. ceremony will take place on the steps in front of Byrnes Auditorium. There will be an address by Retired Marine Corps Major Mike Hemlepp and Winthrop President Dan Mahony will give closing remarks.
  • There also will be the reading of the names of those service members from North and South Carolina who sacrificed their lives during the Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom conflicts.
