Quick Facts

  • The students will be accompanied by bassist Andy Preston, who is also orchestra director for the Lexington 2 School District and the S.C. Philharmonic.
  • All musicians are guitar majors in the Department of Music who will show off their skills in jazz styles like swing, bop, funk and ragtime.
  • The exciting performance will include renditions on songs such as “Sweet Lorraine,” “Polka Dots and Moonbeams,” “I Could Write a Book” and “One Note Samba.”
