  • On Veterans Day on Thursday, Nov. 8, campus and community volunteers at more than 100 college and universities will read the names of all the 6,600-plus casualties of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, now called Operation New Dawn.
  • This year, the 100 current Winthrop student veterans have worked to organize simultaneous reading of names of those from North and South Carolina who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
