- SACS requires that each institution identify a component of its undergraduate program to improve called the Quality Enhancement Plan. During the team members’ visit, Winthrop officials will talk about their plan, called the Global Learning Initiative.
- The purpose of the initiative is to improve student learning in three general categories: global knowledge, global attitudes and global engagement.
