- Money from sale of the bonds will pay for deferred maintenance and up-fits for Dacus Library, repurposing of Dinkins Hall to house academic tutoring, up-fits to the former Bookworm facility in order to accommodate the Louise Pettus Archives, roof repairs on Byrnes Auditorium, Withers Building and McLaurin Hall and other projects.
- The bonds are covered under the university’s existing debt service and will not require additional revenues, fees, or costs to Winthrop.
