Scope and Content Note
This series consists of the correspondence and memoranda produced by the Dalton and Linda Floyd College Readiness Program. The Dalton and Linda Floyd College Readiness Program is a community/school engagement initiative that provides college students an opportunity to serve as role models and guides to high school students as they aspire to and prepare for post-secondary education. Two particular aims of the program are (1) to provide opportunities for college students to build leadership and mentoring skills and (2) to provide opportunities for high school students who may assume that post-secondary education is not possible for them or who may be considered at-risk in the high school to college transition.
