Scope and Content Note
This series consists of correspondence and memoranda produced by and for the campus affinity groups formed by the Diversity Council. The Diversity Council was created as an 18-member committee consisting of faculty, staff, and students to promote a more diverse faculty and staff. Affinity groups were then created for different groups on campus including the following groups: African American faculty and staff; Asian/Pacific Islander faculty and staff; Latinx faculty and staff; LGBT faculty and staff; and military veteran faculty and staff. These groups were created with the launching of this initiative on January 23, 2020. Other groups representing diverse faculty and staff will be added as there is interest.
