Scope and Content Note

This series consists of the records produced by and for the Association of Black Social Workers. The National Association of Black Social Workers, Inc., comprised of people of African ancestry, is committed to enhancing the quality of life and empowering people of African ancestry through advocacy, human services delivery, and research. The Winthrop University chapter promotes an atmosphere wherein academic and professional excellence and aspirations can coincide with minority interests; moral principles can find their fullest expression through interaction with other individuals of African heritage.
