Scope and Content Note

The Office of Community Relations serves as the liaison between Winthrop University and the Rock Hill and local community. Since Winthrop’s move to Rock Hill, SC in 1895, Rock Hill and the surrounding communities played an important role in helping shape Winthrop’s future and this office attempts to strengthen those ties.

Additional Notes

The Office of Community Relations was created in the 2015/2016 academic year. The Division of University Relations was formerly known as the Office of College Relations, Office of Public Affairs, Office of Public Relations, and Office of University Relations.
