Abstract

First published in 1898, the Winthrop University Yearbook captures the spirit, style, and traditions of Winthrop students for more than a century. Known almost exclusively as The Tatler, the yearbook offers a vivid glimpse into campus life as it evolved through generations. Only two editions carried different titles—Lang Syne in 1904 and Tatler à la Guerre in 1918, reflecting the influence of World War I. Although no volumes were issued in 1900, 1902, 1903, 1905, 1906, or 2001, the series continued until 2002, preserving the faces, milestones, and memories that shaped Winthrop’s history.

*Digitization of this yearbook was made possible through the generous support of John Withers.

Comments

This volume is labeled ‘Volume 24’ in The Tatler, but it represents the 25th yearbook published by Winthrop.
