Abstract

My project combines historical Korean culture and modern values to create a timeless tale promoting concepts of respect and humility. My picture book is aimed at children ages 5-8, and includes a story and illustrations that teach and entertain. Through the research of Korean culture and popular children’s books, my finished book will be an historical document and a moral, meshing humor with fact, for children and adults to enjoy.
