LeeAnn Pounds, JD LeeAnn serves as the Employee Relations Manager and Training Coordinator within Winthrop’s Human Resources Division. LeeAnn taught employment law, business law and recruitment/selection methods as an adjunct professor previously at Fairleigh Dickinson University and the College of St. Elizabeth’s, both in Madison, New Jersey. LeeAnn practiced law for 15 years in Alabama and New Jersey in the areas of employment law, general litigation, business law and estate planning. LeeAnn worked for the federal courts in the Northern District of Alabama, first as a one-year clerk and later as a career law clerk for the esteemed Honorable James H. Hancock. Her role with the federal courts allowed her to assist in the drafting of both trial and appellate decisions as well as pattern jury charges provided to all federal judges. LeeAnn has previously focused on the ADA, Title VII discrimination and harassment claims, drafting effective policies for employers and assisting with compliance issues.
