Description
In 1911, the Student Government Association was formed. The student body petitioned President David Bancroft Johnson for the right to govern the conduct of student in matters that were not strictly academic. Therefore the Student Government Association (SGA) was given authority to control quiet and promptness of students, student compliance with College regulations, and honesty in the classroom among students.
