Description
In 1968, the Winthrop Training School closed. Since the 1913-1914 academic year the Winthrop Training School was used as a Model School for Winthrop students to practice teaching. It was a K-12 up until 1965 when the high school closed and in 1968 all the grades were discontinued. The Macfeat Nursery School continued and is still in operation.
This image is of the 4th Grade during the 1930-1931 academic year of the Winthrop Training School.
