Abstract
This interview was conducted by Dr. Arnold Shankman for the Louise Pettus Archives and Special Collections Oral History Collection with Mina Surasky Tropp. In the interview, Mrs. Tropp reflects on her life, family, career, and experiences as a member of the Jewish community in the American South.
Mrs. Tropp recounts her childhood in Aiken, South Carolina, before relocating to New York as a young adult.
