Dr. Wesley Grimes Byerly, Jr. [July 28, 1926-December 12, 2017] was a surgeon in Hickory, North Carolina. He wrote several books including a three volume history of the Byerly Family in North Carolina.
Scope and Content Note
The Byerlys of Carolina, Vol. III continues to chronicle the family's history and includes family trees, histories, biographical sketches, family stories, and anecdotes. The volume contains an index of all three volumes. Pettus Archives holds the third volume only. Please see the attached Table of Contents and Index.
