Scope and Content Note

The collection consists of a DVD of home movies of the All-American Girls Professional League. There are three sections of the film: Rockford Peaches taking batting practice, Game Action: Rockford Peaches vs. Peoria Redwings 1949), and the All-American Girls Traveling Team on tour after the disbandment on the league in 1954. The origin of the film is unknown and was given to Jim Sargent by Dorothy (Dottie) Wiltse Collins (former AAGPBL player) who in turn donated to Robert Gorman, Reference Librarian at Winthrop University.
