This collection consists of The Revolutionary War in South Carolina: An Anthology From The Writings of William Gilmore Simms compiled by Dr. Stephen E. Meats. This Anthology consists of excerpts of the writings of William Gilmore Simms (1806-1870). Included are passages from Simms letters, The Geography of South Carolina, South Carolina in the Revolutionary War; The Life of Nathanael Greene Joscelynand The Scout. Dr. Stephen Meats is a graduate of the university of South Carolina (1966, 1968, 1972) and was a Professor of English at Pittsburg State University from 1970 through 2014.
