Scope and Content Note
This collection consists of The Civil War Soldiers and Civilians: A supplemental Teaching Unit from the records of The National Archives which was produced by the National Archives and Records Service. Also included in the collection are copies of original documents and photographs from the National Archives which includes various correspondence letters, several photographs of civil war soldiers, newspaper articles dealing with the war, three maps of Ball’s Bluff, Virginia, and designs of various innovative weapons introduced during the American Civil War.
