Scope and Content Note
This collection consists of two photographs of Martha L. Franks (1901-1992) a 1922 Winthrop graduate from Laurens County who went on to become a southern Baptist missionary to China from 1925 to 1965. One photograph is a copy of an original of Ms. Franks in middle age and one is an original of her later in life.

The Martha Franks Photographs were given to the Archives by Ida Crawford Stewart on September 13, 2000.
