The Robert Duvall Allen Certificate was awarded to Corporal Robert Duvall Allen (1895-1942) following his service in The Third Division during World War I on June 10, 1919 by Robert P. Bell , First Lieutenant Infantry, USA, Commanding Officer of the Third Division Postal Department. The certificate includes Corporal Allen's military history and the operations he took part in during his service in Europe from April 1918 through 1919 including: Champagne-Marne Defensive (July 15-18, 1918); Aisne-Marne Offensive (July 18-Aug. 6, 1918); Training Period Gondrecourt Area (Aug. 18- Sept. 6, 1918); St. Mihiel Offensive (Sept. 12-16, 1918); Meuse-Argonne Offensive (Sept. 26-Nov. 11, 1918); Chemin des Dames (June 1-5, 1918); Army of Occupation Dec. 1, 1918);
