Scope and Content Note
The York County Deeds collection consists of real estate deeds registered in York County, S.C. with the exception of one from Iredell County, N.C., one arrest warrant, a court summons, a certificate of guardianship, and a sheriff’s title. Principle people involved in the transactions were Franklin H. Brown, Henry l. Killam, Samuel C. Youngblood, and member of the Fewell, Johnson, and Moore families.
