The James Ferguson Genealogy consists of a family tree chart (measuring 21’ 3” x 3’) written by Mrs. Pearle Oates Williams and J. Thomas Williams, Sr. The family tree chart documents the various lines of the Ferguson family from 1715 through 1983. The family later settled in York and Chester counties, South Carolina. A few of the more prominent allied families are: Armstrong, Banks, Barnett, Boyd, Brown, Craven, Crook, Dowd, Locke, Melton, Morrison, Nunnery, Oates, Pittman, Williams, and Worthy.
