Jean Hicklin Nichols was born on October 25, 1933 and is a longtime resident of Richburg in Chester County, South Carolina.
Scope and Content Note
The Jean Hicklin Nichols Papers consist of family histories and family history charts relating to the Pressley, Poag, McFadden, McKenney, Elder, and Simpson families, together with a journal concerning shipping and toll-keeping on the Fishing Creek Canal in Chester County, papers relating to the history of the Chester County towns of Richburg, Lando, and Bascomville, and information on the Lancaster and Chester (L&C) Railway Company.
