The National Organization for Women (NOW) was organized to improve the status and life of Women and push for the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA). The National Organization for Women (NOW) Greenville (SC) Chapter Records consist of newsletters, bulletins, pamphlets, clippings, and correspondence relating to the equal Rights Amendment and its progress in the South Carolina State Legislature and U.S. Congress. Also included is correspondence pertaining to job discrimination in classified advertisements.
