Scope and Content Note

The Richardson Family Papers consist of letters, envelops, maps, building plans, a genealogy book, and newspaper clippings regarding the Richardson family of Seneca, S.C. The collection contains personal correspondence, war correspondence, maps, sketches of building plans, a book of the 1977 genealogy and newspaper clippings chronicling life in SC before, during, and after World War II, Florida in the 1930s, different stations of World War II, and Alaska in the 1960s onward.

Provenance

The Richardson Family Papers were donated to Winthrop on July 16, 1981 and were later deposited with Winthrop University Archives and Special Collections.
