Scope and Content Note
The Sara Perry McLeod Papers include a May Day program, newspaper clippings and photographs from a scrapbook, and Winthrop College yearbooks (Tatler) from Sara Perry’s student years. Sara Perry McLeod (1921–2011), a 1942 Winthrop College graduate, served as Maid of Honor during the May Day festivities in the spring of 1942. The bulk of the collection documents the 1942 May Day celebration, featuring images and articles related to that event, along with materials reflecting her time as a student at Winthrop.
