Scope and Content Note
The Fairway Garden Club Records consists of recorded minutes, constitution & bylaws, financial recordings of fund raisers, photographs of special events, membership lists, correspondence & project letters, programs and news clippings, concerning the activities and goals of the club. The Fairway Garden Club was organized in 1969 as a Garden club. In the year 1972 they helped establish a new park and playground for children with the help of John T. Roddey, who had provided them with 2 two lots on Sherwood Circle near the corner of Stephanie Lane near the country club.
